Tis the season

I know it has been a while but.....I don't know what to say so...
Tis the season! lol
This year we jumped on the bandwagon and got elf on the shelf! Our
elf is named JoJo and we are having fun with it. The kids are soooooooo excited to find him each day.

Day one he started on the reindeer

That night he moved into my stocking

Last night he got more adventurist and went in Sienna's dollhouse and
took some candy out of the kitchen to eat (silly JoJo)

Ok so what else is new?
Kids are keeping me busy with school, activities, etc. The two little ones just
finished soccer and Jaden is still busy with travel ball. Kids are happy (most
of the time) and healthy!!

I want nice weather

I know, I know......I sound like a spoiled brat but you can't have 80 degree perfect weather, two weekends in a row and then go back to rain. Its just not fair. A few weeks ago we were doing this

and I want that back...............Like now. I don't want to wait for the rain to go away (ok ok maybe just a little spoiled).

I have neglected my blog for a long time because really my life is just that busy. Between dance, gymnastics, basketball and several baseball teams..........my kids keep me really busy.
I do miss writing about my life and I know all of my many followers miss me talking. So maybe I will start writing more again.
With that said, I need to get some work done.

My baby girl turned 4 and we celebrated with a small pool party (pics coming soon).

I ran the wharf to wharf this past weekend and that was a lot of fun (pics again coming soon) We also had some fun in a photo booth at Ron's company picnic.

My Avon Breast Cancer walk is tomorrow and I couldn't be any more excited .

Not excited to walk 40 miles (well kinda) but excited to be a part of something so great! I know that I myself can not make a difference in the fight against breast cancer but I can be a part of it and that is what I will be doing this weekend.

Over two days I will journey 39 miles helping to forever alter the lives of thousands affected by breast cancer worldwide. Together, we will unite with one purpose and one goal - to end this deadly disease. The money I raise will provide women and men the breast cancer screening, support and treatment they need regardless of their ability to pay, and so that leading-edge research teams across the country can be powered by the funds they need to fuel their quest for a cure !

I love summer. The hotter the better (ok not to hot please). But summer makes me so happy/ I love being outdoors and don't complain to much that I don't have AC. With all the rain we had this winter I am not complaining one bit about the heat. I actually love it.

Summer so far has consist of:

beach trips
pool days
a awesome trip to Yosemite
bbq's
late nights laying on blankets (with my mom last night)
sun tans
Popsicles
slip and slides

and the list will continue to grow because summer is just starting.

Good things are happening

We went on a mini vacation to safari west and it was amazing. We stayed in a cabin with no tv (shocking to the kids) and we were forced to just talk. It was a great family bonding experience. The animals were awesome. My favorite was the baby giraffes............so adorable. Something so sweet about baby animals (or any babies for that matter). I have tons of pictures coming your way soon...................don't get to excited now.
School is almost out and although I have been procrastinating on my research paper, I am finally ready to sit down and tackle this project. Sex education vs. abstinence only education.......oh the things I could say.
So with school almost being out that means its almost summer baby!!!! Oh how I love summer. It makes me smile.
I am almost to my goal for my breast cancer walk but my team still has a long way to go so we will still be fundraising for a while.

Ok ok gotta work. But good things are happening and I am in a good mood today!!!

Wow time sure does go by fast. It feels like yesterday I was writing this post about him being eight http://shereeplus3.blogspot.com/2009/05/happy-birthday-my-sweet-love.html. Now it is time to write 9.........ahhhhh. Every year on Jaden's birthday I get a little sad. I mean time really goes by way to fast and I want to freeze it and keep him little just a little longer. I am not ready for him to grow up (but he sure is). I was just telling someone the other day that he is starting to like girls (one girl he really likes), he is starting to smell like a teenage boy and even his little attitude is more teenage like. Don't get me wrong he is still my sweet boy most of the time.

Last weekend we had a party at our house and he has 23 boys over. He didn't stop smiling the entire time...........he was in heaven. The party was great and they all had a great time.

Crazy town

I am not back yet from crazy town but I will let you all know when I am.
Maybe it was the 23 boys at my house on Sunday or the fact I spend the night in ER with Sienna and what we thought was a broken foot (which is just badly sprained).
Or maybe it the research paper that's due soon that I haven't started.
Oh, I know....its the baseball games that seem to be everyday and most of the time start at the same time for both boys.
NO NO NO, its the fact my husband is working every night this week which leaves me home solo to do it all.

CRAZY TOWN....I need a vacation from you! Thanks.

My world is one big ball of crazy

Today I am a little nutty (yes, just today).

Between working in the city all week (for those of you out of state readers this would be San Francisco) and all the dang birthdays and baseball games. I am NUTTY!!

My reasons for being crazy are listed below:

We have had baseball every single night this week.
Today is Brannon's birthday and yes I did manage to swing by the mall for 2 minutes to grab the running shoes he wanted and also somehow managed to cook breakfast before work today for him (good wife award goes to me today). Tomorrow we will be celebrating his birthday with much needed drinks and a game of laser tage with friends.
Saturday it goes something like baseball, dance, baseball, baseball, maybe stop by a bday party then birthday dinner for mom (nope haven't gotten present yet....shit).
Then Sunday is Jaden's birthday party with about 20 boys and I have not planned it out much and for me this is odd because I am normally all over birthday parties. I did order cupcakes.........whooo hoo (oh and no present for him yet either)

So all of these things make me feel a little crazy at times but then again I think I would be crazy if I didn't have all these things. So my world is one big ball of crazy and I love every minute of it!

Oh and this is me if I was a cartoon character!!!

Earth Day

It is earth day and what better way to spend it than outside. We headed to the lake after dinner to have a nice bike ride, eat dinner on a picnic table and of course play in the lake (to find rocks). Now I am not the best photographer in the world but I did capture some nature tonight (and some cute kids as well)

Tonight was a good night! We lost a flip flop in the stream (Jaden) but had some good laughs about it when Alec said "we can sell it at the garage sale" and I asked "who would buy one shoe" and he had a serious look on his face and said "someone with one foot". We laughed and laughed! The kids had a great time being outside and I had a great time capturing every moment of it. Cheer tryouts....I feel old!

My sis and niece are trying out for cheerleading (well actually the dance team) but let me just say this makes me feel old. I was trying out 13 years ago (wow). This is what she looked like my senior year

As I helped them last night, it brought me back to the memories of when I was a cheerleader. I was so nervous at tryouts. I told them the story of how I peed my pants during a competition one time (yes peed) and they laughed at me! haha I even did some cheers for them and got the look of "you are way to old to be doing that". I can't believe it has been so long.

After a while Sienna wanted to practice because she is going to try out too (so she thinks). The sad part is, I am sure she will be there before we know it.

My sis said she found my old uniform and she said how they have changed so much since when I went to school. We laughed about me trying it on again but I am a little nervous to go there. haha

I never tripped over toys or forgot words to a lullaby.
I didn't worry whether or not my plants were poisonous.
I never thought about immunizations.

Before I was a Mom, I had never been puked on.
Pooped on.
Chewed on.
Peed on.
I had complete control of my mind and my thoughts. I slept all night.

Before I was a Mom, I never held down a screaming child so doctors could do tests.
Or give shots.
I never looked into teary eyes and cried.
I never got gloriously happy over a simple grin.
I never sat up late hours at night watching a baby sleep.

Before I was a Mom, I never held a sleeping baby just because I didn't want to put her down.
I never felt my heart break into a million pieces when I couldn't stop the hurt.
I never knew that something so small could affect my life so much.
I never knew that I could love someone so much.
I never knew I would love being a Mom.

Before I was a Mom, I didn't know the feeling of having my heart outside my body.
I didn't know how special it could feel to feed a hungry baby.
I didn't know that bond between a mother and her child.
I didn't know that something so small could make me feel so important and happy.

Before I was a Mom, I had never gotten up in the middle of the night every 10 minutes to make sure all was okay.
I had never known the warmth, the joy, the love, the heartache, the wonderment or the satisfaction of being a Mom.
I didn't know I was capable of feeling so much, before I was a Mom

Night at the beach

I have been wanting to go to the beach for a while (inspired by a recent blogger, I have been following) and last night seemed like the perfect night to go. It was a nice day and I just felt the urge to just go. So we got to the beach around 5pm and had a perfect dinner on the wharf. The kids behaved and we all had a nice meal (rare when you have three little ones). We walked on the wharf to the overpriced candy shop and went to visit the sleeping sea otters. Sienna yelled at them to "Wake up" for about five minutes until she gave up and said "they are lazy". Then it was off to the beach where the kids found a huge hole some kids must have dug that day. They immediately got there shovels and started digging more.And because I am always the one behind the camera, I handed it off to Brannon for a while and got he got a great shot of me and the kiddos.
I love watching Sienna's face as the water comes toward her. She gets so excited but never lets the water hit her feet!

The boys ran off to play baseball and Sienna wanted to make a sand castle. She got so excited when the castle actually stood up (so did I)

Then it was off to run from the water again.........this time with mom.

The boys played baseball for a good hour.

Until I made them stop for a few pictures (which they claim they dont like to take pictures)

They found some adult friends (who I think drank a little to much but the kiddos had no idea)

Sienna just kept digging. She sure loves sand!

And Alec loves sand as well

Then we did a toast (also inspired by the same blogger) to happiness and family.

It was a perfect night!

My love for coffee & my office

First of all let me just say I have a special relationship with coffee. I love it more and more each day as my life gets crazier and crazier. I can't believe that I used to hate it. I defiantly was crazy then. I can't live without it now. I enjoy every sip of my morning coffee. Its used to be just a Starbucks thing, but now it has grown into any coffee I can get my hands on (as long its not toooo strong). This was my cup this morning and it was ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh sooooooooo yummmmmmy!!! It may give me energy until about 2pm and then I will need something else. CAFFEINE is my new best friend (or as we call it at work, THE MOM DRUG

Ok so speaking of work. I cleaned my office the other day and was super proud of myself so i took a picture........It doesnt look like this anymore. But, I started to realize I need some pictures of something. It is boring loking and I spend 8 hours (sometimes more, sometimes less) a day here. I need to make it more......ummm me. Help. Give me ideas.

Spring break

Man I miss the days when I got a spring break. I think that all employers should have spring break. I mean how cool would that be?
Jaden is on break right now and although I am working I am trying to force Brannon to do cool things with them. It would suck to have a boring spring break. So today it was the movies....the dragon one (I forgot the name). They loved it and Jaden got to bring a friend ...........and have him spend the night tonight. I have not planned the day for them tomorrow but don't you worry, I will. I wish the weather was nice because I would send them on their way to the beach. But the weather is no bueno so I will have to think of something else.
I am going for the cool mom of the week award and because of that we set up the trampoline (although the weather is not cooperating with my coolness)

and how I know I am sucessful in my coolness is the smiles!!! The smiles got even bigger when mom jumped in with them!

So I hope that my kiddos can enjoy spring break for me!

I came across this picture today and it brought back so many memories. This is a time when I only had one child to dedicate all my attention too.We baked, did art projects, sang songs etc. It was before sports,homework and hectic schedules. It was a time before attitudes! He was my world (still is) and my #1 priority (still is as well although he has to share that with his brother and sister). It was a time of learning for me as well.......learning to be a mother.

Race Day!

This was the day I had been training for since November.......Race day! I felt great when I woke up despite losing a hour of sleep due to daylight savings. The first seven miles were pretty easy but mile 8 was a challenge. The hill on mile 9 was brutal as well. I was ready to give up after 12 miles but I saw my family cheering me on and pushed through.

13.1 miles ........2 hours, 20 min! I did it!!! It was an amazing experience and so much fun. (Just got official time 2 hours 18 min!!!)

Finding Nemo

It all started with a simple trip to the yogurt shop. As we pull in the kids see a pet store and begged to go in. I agree and of course the begging doesn't stop because now they want a fish. Now if you know me you know that it takes a lot of begging for a pet (I am not a animal person). But it was Friday, I was tired and really I just wanted to get my yogurt and go home.... so I gave in. A blue beta fish is what they picked out. The clerk told me how to take care of the fish and off we went to eat yogurt. Over yogurt we talked about names. Sienna wanted to call the fish "dolphin" then followed by "shark". After Alec looked at her like she was the stupidest 3 year old on earth they agreed the fish would be called NEMO (so original huh). They fought over if it was a boy or a girl but since Alec won the name game she got to pick that it was a girl. We got home and put the fish in water and followed the specific instructions by the clerk......... Wash the rocks, and used room temp bottled watter only. The kids sat and looked at the fish for about a hour and were really in love with it. They called everyone they know to tell them about Nemo. They finally fell asleep and said goodnight to Nemo.

All was great until...................................................................

Brannon came home late after getting off work and went to look at the fish that the kids called him to talk about 5 times and Nemo was DEAD. OMG I didn't know what to do. I was in a panic. I couldn't tell my kids the fish died. Brannon wanted to tell them the truth and I didn't. After a while I thought I was going to tell them I had to take him to the doctor because he was sick but we were going to get him back (give me time to find a new fish). So that was the plan...thank god Jaden spending the night with grandma because he wouldn't believe that at all.
So the next morning, I get up really early to go running and I get a call from kiddos asking where Nemo is. I give them the story about the doctors and they believe me but want to go see him at the doctors and asked "when he could come home". When I got home they wanted to go get Nemo NOW!

WHAT TO DO?????

Ok so I will take them to the pet store by my moms house and find one that looks the same and make the clerk play the pretend game. Ok good plan. Well we get to that store and it out of business. So I tell the kids "I better ask dad which doctor he took it too". So we go to the next pet store and they didn't have any Beta fish. I was so worried they were going to catch on to me. But nope they believed me when I said "silly mommy forgot which store dad said". So onto the next and at last they had Beta fish. So I asked Alec which one was Nemo and he pointed at a blue fish in the tank. I asked the clerk to come over and said to him "that one is Nemo right" and gave him a wink and he went along with it and said "yes it is". Then I replied "I am so glad he is feeling better and ready to come home". PHEW

So now Nemo (or should I say Nemo 2) is home with us.

I literally was trying to find Nemo!!!

Big heart!

I always knew Jaden was special and had such an amazing heart but this week he proved it to me more than I can explain. I am walking the Avon Breast Cancer walk and I have talked about it a lot latley with him and sometimes on the phone (but he listens to everything). He knows I have to raise money and he said to me "I am going to help you" one afternoon. I thanked him and he went on to play wii and do kid stuff. He went to a birthday party this weekend and his dad gave him $10 just in case he wanted something from the snack bar (even though the party had food. haha). He came home from the party and I asked him how it went and he said "mom it was great but I have something for you". I was waiting for some craft to be handed to me from the party or another birthday invitation to another kids party when he handed me the $10 bill. He said "Dad gave this to me for food but I didn't want to get anything because I wanted to give it to you for your walk". My heart melted right then. He then went on to ask all the things he could do to help. He wanted to sell lemonade and even said he would stand on the corner with a sign. hahahahahaha He made a jar with the words BREAST CANCER FUND on it and started collecting all the coins around our house. He even rounded up his brother and sister to help him collect money from their piggy banks. In a few short days of collecting change and his $10, we now have almost $20. I am proud to say I have one of the kindest kids in the world. His heart amazes me and now he is teaching his brother and sister. I love my kids

I know I suck at keeping up to date with my blog. So here goes my update

Me: I started back to school. I am only taking one class for my sanity. Work is going great, just busy. I am training for a half marathon, which is next month. I ran in a 10k last weekend (it has been a while since I ran in a race). Other then that.........I can't think of

Ok lets move onto kids.......

Jaden-He is doing great in school. He is so smart! He is starting baseball again and his team is the Pirates. This is the first year that his dad or papa is not coaching him. I think it will be good for him! He still loves to work with grandpa Ron.

Alec-Alec is starting real baseball this year too. He loves to tell everyone he is playing "pee wee", which basically means no tee. He is learning more and more everyday and is starting to learn to put words together. He is proud of the fact he can spell CAT, BAT, SAT etc.

Sienna-Sienna is still dancing every Saturday and is learning her recital dance now. I still don't think she will actually do it but we shall see. She has mastered her letters and what each letter sounds is (thank you leap frog). She is growing up so fast!

I am done with this semester. I have to admit, I almost didnt make it. Finals were yesterday and I feel I did well. I am excited for a break for a month. yeahhhhhhhh baby!

My J boy is doing so well in school. I had his conference on Monday and couldn't be more proud of him. He is advanced in Math and Spelling (unlike his mom). His teacher went on and on about how well behaved, helpful, kind etc. he is. It makes me so proud to hear those things. So bot only is my baby smart he is a well behaved!!!! GO J Boy!

As most of you know I started back to school. I am very very busy with homework and such right now. I feel like giving up but don't worry I won't. I have come to far to turn around now.

This weekend we sold bows at the art and wine festival. It was so hot! We did pretty well though. More good bow news is our bows will be in a hair salon in Saratoga soon (yeah baby).

Kids are doing great. Jaden is doing awesome in school and Alec is actually enjoying school. Sienna starts dance this weekend and she is so excited!

So thats pretty much it for now. BUSY BUSY BUSY

Here we go again with Alec and school. Today was his first day of preschool with his new teacher. The first thing he says when he wakes up is "I am not going to school". This continued until about 10 minutes before we got to his class. He snapped of it once we got to class but dang he is stubborn. Here we go again

So last night I had orientation for English and I have the craziest teacher in the world. He runs in the class wearing ripped jeans, a cowboy hat and a bright shirt saying "this has been the fucking craziest day of my life". At first I thinking .......WOW. haha But after a while I realized he was entertaining me and I wasn't bored at all. hahaha
I think I may like this class.

We had a great weekend. We went to visit family that we don't see often, went to Santa Cruz for some day camping, and went to a pool party. The kids got to spend a lot of time outdoors which made them tired!

I actually liked it. He did awesome and he got a touchdown!!!!!!!!!! It was so exciting and Brannon actually chest bumped him after and knocked him down (and the wind out of him)haha. The sport is still is way to rough for my likings but I as so excited for him to get a touchdown.

My baby boy will play in his first football game tomorrow (ok so it is just a scrimmage but you know). I am so nervous. I don't really like the idea of someone charging at my son with pads on just for fun. I wish I would have stuck to my original answer when they asked me if he could play.
I hate football. I know what you are thinking............but you were a cheerleader...........AND? I still hate it. Who watched the game anyways.......certainly not me. I liked cheering for basketball better because it was inside and warm and just better then football.

Anyways I am nervous. I hope he hates it and never wants to play again........don't tell his dad I said that (or his papa)

Disneyland

We are back from our trip to the happiest place on earth. We had a great time (besides a day of sick, barfing kiddos). Sienna was scared of the characters just as we thought she would be. Jaden rode a roller coaster for the first time. Alec also discovered a new found love for mini roller coasters (in toon town).Sienna loved the t-cups and we rode them three times

Sienna kept looking for the"girl with the dress and the bow" aka Minnie MouseI took Sienna to breakfast with the Princess's. Ariel came to walk her down the stairs and she has a great conversation with her but the moment she asked for a picture with her Sienna went up in tears (not sure why). She loved the princess's from a far but didn't want them to come near her. I had to take every picture with her. As soon as we left she shouted "I love all of the beautiful princess's" ..............crazy girl.

My boys have been fighting so much lately. I am now starting to realize that everything is a darn competition between them. If they are not fighting they are competing to see who is better and whatever it may be. I wish I could say that I was not that way with my brother and sister but I AM. haha

Two days left until we are in the "happiest place on earth"!!! I am excited, and kids are excited! I have lots of packing to do! It is hard to pack for three kids and myself. Last night Sienna went to bed shortly after I picked her up, Alec stayed the night with my sister in law and Jaden and Brannon had football until 8. Another night to do what I want..............this never happens.
So I debated about getting Sienna up but she was so tired which means my night would be hell with whining and crying and three year old fits. So of course I let her sleep. I got a workout in, messed with the new DVD player, cooked dinner etc.

WELL...................2:30 my sweet angle is wide awake and hungry. So I fed her and got her to watch cartoons but every time something was on TV she would have to tell me

"mom, look at Elmo"
"mom, I want that"
"mom, are you asleep"

She finally went back to bed at 4:00am!
I will wake her up tonight if she tries to go to bed before 7!

Ironies of motherhood

Last night the two little ones fell asleep after I picked them up from the football field after work. They stayed asleep for the rest of the night. I got a good workout in and cooked a yummy dinner and then sat down to read parenting magazine and I saw a article about the ironies of motherhood and #1 on the list was

1. that you could miss your little ones so much all day at work but be unbelievably relieved when they fall asleep an hour after you get home.

5. That you look forward to girl's night out for weeks-then spent it debating if Hannah Montana is a good role model.

I don't know how many times I spend just about the entire night talking about the kids. Get me drunk and I tell strangers how cute my kids are!! (Don't laugh Katie and Jamie........Newport)

10. Tough as it was when your child clung to you at the entrance to pre K, it's worse when he hisses "don't kiss me!" as you drop him off for third grade (changed this to fit me)

Football

Jaden started football on Monday and doesn't really like it to much yet. I knew he wouldn't........I am him mom, I know these things.
First of all I don't think my kid has ever done a push up a day in his life, or had to run for two hours. So when he came home the first day saying "that is not fun", I totally knew why.

Jaden is not a confrontational type of kid at all. He hits his brother but that's about it. He hates when he thinks people are mad at him and is just not the aggressive type. I am OK with that. But football is not a sport for kids like that.

Of course his dad wants him to play and even got suckered into being a coach. He would never even tell his dad he hates it. I am not going to force Jaden to play if he doesn't want to but I did say he had to give it a few more weeks. He begged to sign up after I told him I didn't think he would like it.

I guess they have to learn for themselves. Should I make him stick it out?

Yesterday was my huge seminar at work that I planned from start to finish (with another co-worker). I was so nervous because there are so many details that go into hosting a event. We had a great turnout (over 200). It was a HUGE SUCCESS.

Wow, where does time go? The day I found out I was pregnant with Sienna feels like yesterday. Now I won't go into details of how I felt that day but lets just say I had a 7 month old and was not ready to have another baby. It took me a while to except the fact that in a few short months I would be a mom of three (hey I was just getting used to two). When I saw her on the ultrasound my feelings changed. I was on love with her....she was my princess. She came a few weeks early on the hottest day of the summer. My labor was super fast and intense ......no drugs.

We all fell in love with her as soon as we saw her. The boys loved her so much! She complete our family.

Now she is three, bossing us all around.

Busy weekend

This weekend we will be celebrating my baby girls third birthday. Now I know she is really not 3 until the 21st but we need to celebrate early due to our busy schedule. So we will be having a Minnnie mouse party at the pool. Sienna is beyond excited about this except for the fact I told her that when she turns three she needs to stop sucking her thumb. She doesn't want to stop sucking her thumb so she told me "forget it, I don't want to be three". hahaha I might have to tackle this thumb sucking project from another angle.

We got these pictures through the place we went rafting. Although they told us when they were going to take it, Jaden was to busy watching other rafters. haha Next time we know to bring a guy with us to help us down the river. It finally feels like summer to me. Maybe it's because we have spent the past three days outside doing summer activities. I took Jaden river rafting on Friday with my mom and sister. It was so much fun. Jaden loved it. It was a lot of work for my mom, sis and I trying to get a 8 man raft down the river (I am so sore). We hit a few trees and got stuck on a few rocks but for the most part we did really well. I will have those pics shortly.
Saturday was the 4th. We spent the day swimming and the night on the lawn doing fireworks! It was fun.
Today was spent outside on the slip and slide and at the park. I am beat from the sun but I am excited that it finally feels like real summer to me.

I had a wonderful time with my friends this weekend. I love getting a chance to catch up and act silly. It brings me back to the times when we had nothing to do but hang out alll day and all night. Ok so I have been slacking on my blog........what can I say?

My birthday was cool. I got spoiled for a few days and I am sad that its over. Now I have to wait a another year for it to come. haha Its ok though because getting another year older is not fun.

I took the day off and went on a field trip with Jaden's class yesterday. Why do I do these things? haha Its like asking for a headache! Kids are crazy. Jaden enjoyed having me there though and that's all that matters. I of course had 6 boys in my group again...............AHHHHHHHHH!

Last night was Jaden's end of the year banquet for baseball. His team went undefeated in the season but lost in the Championship game of the tournament! They had a awesome year!

I have many great pictures to share but my computer at home is not working (dont worry I have someone coming to look at it on Friday). Until then, here is a camera phone pic of Alec at the park on Sunday. We took the kiddos to ride bikes with my sister in law and her family. It was a great day and the kiddos had a blast!

Alyssa is one today. I swear it was yesterday when Katie called me at 10pm and I thought something was wrong.
Our conversation went something like this

KT- "Sheree I am pregnant"
Me- "Shut up"
KT- "No really I am"

KT-"What are you mad or something?"
Me "NOOOOOO, Just shocked"

hahaha I knew she was trying and was so excited to have my bff join the mom club but was so used to me being the only one was saying "I am pregnant", that is sounded funny coming from her. Almost like she was joking!

I was so excited to learn that she was having a girl. We immediately started on her bow collection. The day she was born was amazing. Katie did a great job going through two days of labor just to turn around and have a c section. Of course Auntie Sheree was waiting in the waiting room to see her little face (and make sure my bff was ok). I am so lucky to be a part of Alyssa's life. She is so animated and so precious. I cant believe she is already a year old. That went by to fast. I love watching our girls play together (ok sienna thinks she is her real life baby and Alyssa follows Sienna around). It is a good feeling to know that our girls will continue on and be best of friends just like their mommy's.

So with all that said, Happy birthday my sweet baby Alyssa and congrats to mommy for making it one full year in the mommy club!

I am so happy today is Friday. I need a day to sleep in (yeah like that happens). Jaden has baseball tomorrow and I am selling bows Sunday but that's it for my weekend. I am excited not to have a ton of plans. I need a break.
I am going to see baby Isabella this afternoon and then I have to get my oil changed and car washed. I am kinda excited to have a clean car. You know you are getting old when your Friday night excitement is cleaning your car!

Busy Busy Busy

Ok so the past week we have been super busy (hence why no blogging). We went camping for three days at Lake New Hogan. We had a great time and weather was perfect (just a bit cold for me at night but I think I was the only one who was freezing). We spend majority of our time on the lake. We all tubed and had a blast. On our way home we got a text that Shannon was having her baby......................wooohooo. Isabella was born May 25th weighing 6 pounds 12 ounces. She is a beautiful baby. Mom and baby are doing great and home now.

Last night was the carnival/open house at Jaden's school. The kids had fun at the carnival but I was dying. It was so hot and I have been super tired (ok my mom would probably say you need to go get checked at the doctor or get on some vitamins. haha). We went into Jaden's class and his teacher told us what a good kid he is and how he is just a joy to have in class. We read his report on whales and say all his artwork. Sienna told Jaden's neighbor that her whale report was hers and that she couldn't see it because it was for her teacher...........BOSSY. Good thing the little girl just laughed it off. I was proud to see Jaden's desk was clean. Last year when I went I was so embarrassed because I opened his drawer and I swear he had wrappers and all kinds of junk shoved in their. Boys are such pigs. He told me "mom, I cleaned my desk for you".

Jaden comes running in my room last night with braking news............he can blow a bubble with his gum! He is so proud of himself and he tries to show me. The gum comes flying out of his mouth but he picks it back up and tries again (yuck I know). haha He did it. I am not the proud mom of a bubble blower. hahahahahahahahaha

The other day at Jaden's baseball game my mother in law was telling me she wasn't feeling good. Alec loooked at her dead serious and said "do you have swine flu?" haha

So I remember when I first started blogging I talked about stupid stuff on TV. Well last night I was caught watching yet another stupid show. I must be amused by stupid TV because I am not sure why else would I sit and watch the entire show thinking the entire time "this is so lame". haha

So the show was called Fake or Real. There was three judges and three contestants. One of the contestants had 5 plastic surgeries but all three were trying to convince the judges it was them. whoever convinced the judges got $1000. The judges were plastic sergeants. Then they had three more contestants and one was born a boy and they had do the same thing.

It was sooooooooooooooooo lame but entertaining. haha

Today started off with some school made gifts from the kids (that made me cry). They are just the sweetest things ever. Alec gave me his hand prints with a poem. Jaden gave me a picture frame with his picture in it (SOOOO Cute). Then my mom,step dad and sis came over for breakfast. Brannon and Ron cooked for us.....it was so yummy. We gave my mom her present and she loved it. It was a dvd of pictures to music from us growing up to now with our kids. I knew she would love it!
After breakfast I went and watched my sister and niece dance-They both did a good job! Then we went to my mother in laws and swam and had a barbeque. After we came home I got a long workout in with no distractions and now here I am. The kids are tucked in and I am about to go sit in my bed and study for a test tomorrow.......fun. haha School is almost over so I am looking on the bright side (SUMMER BABY)

8 years went by wayyyyyyy to fast. The moment I saw him, I knew that God made me a mom so young for a reason. He became my world. The first 4 years that we spent together without his brother and sister were very special. He was my best friend and we did everything together (I do miss those days). Now he is 8 and independent! He is such a smart, sweet, respectful (most of the time), and caring little boy. This morning I went to drop off donuts to his class and as I was leaving I went to kiss him. He looked at me with a look like"don't even think about it". I did still kiss his cheek and walked away. I had tears in my eyes as I walked away because I realize my baby is no longer a baby. He will always be a baby in my eyes though.

Going down memory lane

I realized I never finished my labot story so I will sum it up really fast (sorry busy day for me). May 6th, I labored all day long. I walked and walked and walked. I was on the phone with the doctor all day with updates on how I was doing (ok my mom was on the phone). They kept telling me to drink water, so I did. Finally I started throwing up water and for those of you who know what being 9 months pregnant and having a full bladder, throwing up means............yes I peed my pants. hahahahaa I remember my mom asked if it was my water that broke and I said "nope, I peed".

By the time I was ready to go into the hospital, the hospotal was full and I was directed to another hospital.AHHHHHHHHHH I was in a horibble mood at this point and I was hot and in pain. When I got to the hospital I was only dialated to 4....................Yes 4. UH

It was another long night and I got drugs and at 4:01am on May 7th, my baby was born.
