6AM

WHY OH WHY does Jaden get up so early on the weekends? I mean really? He is eight years old not a baby. What part of sleeping in doesn't he get? The younger two get it, but not him. Not to mention he has to take a bath and make a tonnnnnnnnnnnn of noise and wake the rest of the house up.

Ok sorry, but I am just not a early morning person on the weekends!

4 years ago today

Four years ago today is a day I will never forget. I was very excited to bring my 2ND son into this world. I would be lying if I said I wasn't scared because I was. Not scared for the labor or the pain, scared I could not love someone the way I loved my first son and scared for how he would feel about a new baby. Would he be jealous, would he me mad at me for making him share his parents? It sounds silly now but at the time it was on my mind. The moment I saw Alec I knew that everything was going to be perfect.

I was shopping with my mother in law when I suddenly felt my pants a little wet. I thought to myself "did I really just pee?" I went to the bathroom and realized it was not pee, it was my water leaking. I got to the hospital around 1 and labor progressed pretty fast. I did have a epidural but everything went pretty smooth (well besides a little anxiety and a cry spell that I really can't explain. haha) . Alec was born around 8:00 (I need to look up the exact time), weighing 7 pounds 11 ounces. He had a perfect little face with the longest eyelashes. He was so beautiful. The moment I saw him, I fell in love. The kind of love that you can't describe, the same kind of love I had for my first son. When Jaden met Alec that day, he was just as in love with him as we were. He still loves his brother (most days). That day feels like it wasn't that long ago. It has gone by wayyyyyy to fast.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY SWEET BABY BOY!

Ok I am feeling lucky.
Yesterday was the first real day we put Sienna in underwear all day and guess what..............no accidents. I am so proud of her and I can finally see the end of diapers in my future! yeah baby. Why does that make me a bit sad though?
Today-Ok well let me start off by saying I misplaced my works Starbucks card about three weeks ago. It was a early morning start and I thought I left it at the Starbucks drive thru. I asked the next time I went and they said "no sorry, we throw them away when we find them". I told the gal that it was a large amount and if she found it please set it aside and don't throw it away. Well here we are two weeks later and when I went this morning -THEY FOUND IT!

yeah baby. Good thing I didn't tell my boss I lost it. I would look irresponsible.

Oh and I juts got back from a appointment and it went really well! Go me, Go me, Go me!!!

Spring Break

I remember spring break being so much fun when I was growing up. We would plan a beach trip and just hang out all day with friends. Now I am on spring break from school and it doesn't seem to be that much fun. haha Instead of beach trips, I get to cook and clean. I do enjoy spending more time with the kiddos but that also means I have to do more. Usually on school nights I don't have to do much. Brannon will do the cooking, cleaning, homework, lunch packing etc. I am going to tell him tonight that I am on spring break and the key word is "break" so he should continue to do it all. hahahaa I dont think he will like that.

Next week is Jaden's spring break. I am taking a day off and taking him to the beach. I want him to have a fun spring break!

The Camping Party was so much fun

The Party was so much fun, it started off with family and friends over for some food and cake. I made Alec take a few pictures before everyone came Once everyone came, Alec couldn't be bothered long enough to take a picture. I did get some of the cake though

Each of the kids that were staying the night got a camp shirt and bandanna. We did a lizard search in the front yard( fake lizards of course). We also made bug catchers
Next was presents! I didn't get pictures of him opening because I was helping him. But I did get a picture of his surprise present (his truck)
Alec and his buddy Landyn!

Big brother and cousin Trev!
Next it was campfire time!

We told ghost story and Uncle Steven thought he would add to the story about the ghost with the missing golden arm. The kids thought it was funny!
Next we all went on a hike (ok a walk around the block with flashlights and glow sticks)

Then it was off to bed!
The kids had a great time.

Lets go Camping

This weekend we are having Alec's 4Th birthday party (his real birthday is the 9Th). I decided to have a camping party at our house. We will be setting up a tent in the living room, roasting marshmallows, going on a late night walk with our flashlights, making bug catchers and having a bug hunt. I am very excited for his party as is he. I think he will love it. Of course I am sad my pumpkin butt is turning 4 but I will save the tears for next week! In the meantime...........let's go camping!

Good Day

I love days like today. I got off work a bit early because my husband locked himself out of the house (and he had all three kids. haha). he was on his way to the park when he did it so the kids were ready to go to the park. I didn't feel like going but once I got to the park I was so happy I was there. The sound of Sienna and Alec laughing so hard at who was going higher on the swing was music to my ears (ok corny but true). They had grins from ear to ear and when Alec told Sienna he loved her after they got off, my heart melted. Jaden and Brannon were off playing baseball (big surprise) and then Alec joined them. Brannon taught Alec to bunt.... it was so cute. Sienna made a friend and was making sure everyone said "hi" to her best friend. She ran up to the boys playing ball and said "guys say hi to my best friend". hahaha It was funny because when her best friend left the park she said "Bye, I love you".

After the park, we went to get frozen yogurt. We sat on the couch in the store (weird that a yogurt store has a couch) and ate and talked. I love when they are all getting along and not fighting. From there we went to get the rest of Alec's goody bag stuff. They all listened to me and I didn't have to say "don't touch" a million times. We came home and put Alec's bags together and he let his brother and sister help because he loves them so much (his words). haha

Alec was tired and asked to go to bed at 7!!!!

Today was a great day. I love when the kids are loving life and having fun! I love to see them smile.
Speaking of smiles. I have a few new pictures I want to share.
