Sore!

Man am I sore today. I feel like I got into a accident (oh wait I did). I do not feel like going to class tonight. If I get coffee I might feel better haha

What a day

I got in to a accident that was completely my fault (wow that is hard to admit). I rear ended a 2008 Honda Odyssey. The man was very nice about it (maybe he could tell I was on the verge of a mental breakdown and wanted to spare his life). My car was not pretty at but his was wayyyyyyy worse. I hit my head pretty hard and have had a headache all day. My insurance company rocks and my car was in the shop by days end being fixed. I left work early yo relax (relaxing doesn't really happen around here though).
Alec had a playdate tonight and they just left. I really like his friend and her mom (we met them at the park). I am ready to get in bed and relax now.

The aquarium and more!

So the field trip was fun. Of course I get stuck being the chaperon for 4 wild boys. haha So we literally ran through the aquarium because they were just way to excited and had way to much energy. Jaden was so happy to have his mom and I was happy to see that he was so happy. haha I was so tired when I got home and them my husband wanted to take a road trip to visit my brother for the weekend. We had fun and now we are back and ready for the week. Oh and I start school tomorrow.......I am not looking forward to it like I normally am.

The weekend is over!

Back to work. I have been pretty bad about getting pictures of the kiddos lately. I promise I will have some new ones soon. The weather has been beautiful and we have been spending a lot of time outdoors. Yesterday I took the kids on a walk and walked a bit further then I expected so I had to have Brannon pick us up....oops. Thank God for cell phones or I would have been one pissed off person, walking all the way back. The kids love being outdoors. I just can't believe what awesome weather we are having (yeah for sun!)
I will get some shots of the kids tonight and show yall tomorrow. I know you can't wait! haha

Fighting

Why oh why must the kids fight over EVERYTHING??????????????????? I am tempted to throw myself on the ground, like a two year old because I have had enough. My head is pounding and all I hear is Mom.......he wont play with me, mom .........she took my toy, mom... I wanted to turn off the tv and he did it, mom.....I want to brush my teeth first, mom.....he said my shirt is ugly MOM.....MOM.....MOM
Don't they know that I am tired and on the verge of a tantrum. hahahaha

I don't remember doing this with my brother but I am sure my mom will say we did (she is lying, I was a angel)

I got to go break up another fight. The joys of motherhood. hahahaha

Yo!

So nothing really new to report. It's almost 9 and my kids will not go to bed (Ok I guess I am not trying that hard right now). I am trying to tell Alec that show and tell at school is not a bad thing. He keeps saying "I am not bringing my toys to school because the kids will break it" I said the forbidden word when explaining show and tell "share" and he is not having it. Now he just got really upset (tears and all) that we had no apples in the house. I just put him to bed. Two down (Jaden is already in bed).
Jaden has a field trip to the Aquarium on the 23rd. I am not really a fan of the aquarium (I think I went to many times in my life. haha) but he is so excited. He wanted me to go so I of course volunteered. I wasn't really sad when he told me I might not be able to go because to many parents signed up. But today I got the call from his teacher that they picked me to go (like I won a prize or something). haha I found it comical that she said on my answering machine "I just wanted to tell you no siblings". Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmm why would I bring my other kids on the field trip. hahaha Jaden is beyond excited that I am the chosen one. I am going to enjoy the fact that he still wants me to come. He is so sweet!
No new updates regarding Mrs. Thang.......I mean Sienna. She has a new found love for her boots with the fur (uggs). haha She is still kinda potty training. I keep say we are going to really work on it but then we don't. I think she would be potty trained if we really tried........ok that sounds really lazy on my part.
School starts again soon. I am excited but not.........you know how that goes.

Ok I need to get Sienna to bed before I have another kid throwing a fit over apples.haha

Busy Busy Busy

Seminars have consumed my week this past week and will continue into next week. What that means is, long work days and sleepless nights (worrying about the seminars.haha) I love my job and the gals I work with though so it is fun and exciting. If you are not sure what the heck I am talking about I will explain. My work puts on seminars every other month. This one is a HR Compliance seminar. We have had 260 people the first day and 190 the next day. Around half were clients and the other half was prospects. We had a great turnout. We have one this week and one the following week. Fun stuff!
The weekend I am spending resting and chillin with the kiddos. Today was park day. Kids had fun. I actually didn't bring my camera (I know shocking huh). Tomorrow I am taking Jaden on a date.
Just wanted to check in with everyone.

My date

So it started with a bit of mom guilt, that led me to go on a date with my poor middle child. We were watching home videos over Christmas break. A lot of the videos were of Jaden (hey he was the only one for four years). I do have many videos of Alec and Sienna but not nearly as much as I had of Jaden. In the videos I was shocked about how patient I sounded and how many activities I did with Jaden. Hey, life was easy with one kid. I started feeling a guilty because things that I used to do with Jaden (baking, painting, movies, projects) are now a million times more complicated with three. I decided that I was going to take Alec on a date, just me and him. Our date went something like this

• went to lunch (he didn't eat a thing besides the sunday at the end)
• went to the mall to watch a movie but got there early so I let him ride up and down the escalator as many times as he wanted (he did it about 12 times. haha)
• got candy, popcorn and a icee
• got in the movies and he ate all of his goodies before the movie started (he was hungry from not eating lunch but it was date day so I didn't care)
• He fell asleep just as the movie started and woke up when in ended

On our way home I said to him "Alec you fell asleep during the movie" and he said "no, I didn't. I loved that movie". hahahaha Now he keeps saying " I had a special day with mom and saw the best movie". hahahahhaahaha

My little sister

My little sister really just text me that she got the boy she likes phone number.................why am I sad? My baby sister is not a baby anymore. She will be 13 this year (INSANE) . It was just yesterday when I was dressing her up and taking her to show all my friends how cute she was. Now she likes boys..........................yuck. Why would she want to go and grow up? I guess she didn't get the memo, that I would like her to stay a little girl for a while longer.

2008 is over!
